This image is going to represent the start of the adventure of the little boy selling gum for him to be able to feed himself and or his family .

This image will show a cluster of older male's around the boy. Showing confusion. A bit of a blur.

This image represents that the boy has been stolen. At this point i want the viewer to come up with their own idea, whether he was lost, stolen, abused etc.

Window lighting

This assignment was to be done in doors with window light being the major source. The window i selected was from my bedroom that was in the northern part of my house. I picked this window because it was my favorite window lighting, not to bright and not to dim. The shapes you see within this photo are the back wal that i covered with a sheet due to my posters, the basket that Butters (dog) is in, and the bench that the basket is placed on top of. The shapes within this image are not much, the image does not look clustered. The lighting is bright in the area of her face. Although has very
light fur, you can see the the difference of light in her face and from the backside of her head. The background is the middle shade, that is just that bone white sheet. The right and bottom right of the image is the darkest shade in the picture. This image was good. I had a bit of a struggle because of her not wanting to be in the basket and stay still but other then that the shoot was successful.

Outdoor lighting

My outdoor lighting shoot was not how i wanted it to be. My model was Carlos Aguayo, while taking pictures of him the camara broke down on me and my classmates and we could not continue with the shoot. The shoot was in the back area of our school. We had the white courtain and the golden cardboard to give are focused object a brighter and bronze tone. Since my shoot was not a success i decided to search images of that type.

This image seems to have usage of a white rim and the golden sheet to give it a bronze tone. The person holding the reflector seems to be on the right side, having its focus of bronze lighting on the top flowers and glass cups. The white rim helps the image to be more soft and sharp. It gives the object's a nicer focus. The shapes in this image are straight edge ad clear. They have the table that looks squared when given a glance, but when you pay attention you can see that the table top is circular but looks different due to the table cloth. The shades are brighter on the bottom right where the light is hitting against the white cloth. The middle tones are on the top right and middle area. The darkest tone is the left side where the trees and shadows are. This photographer's image is successful.

Five x Six

Our instructor Ms.Miles taught us how to use a 5x 6 camera in class. The point was to try out something different that was not used so ofen in these modern times. Each student had to come with their own idea of how and what techniques they wanted to use on the objects selected and the theme of the image. I really like frruit, so i selected fruit to be my model's in this shoot. My shoot went very well the posture and placement of the fruit was very nice. I had green and red apples, peaches, bananas. Unfortunately, my image was ruined when being developed and was developed with another image. The print was messed up and i didnt have my result. Eventhough the film was ruined what i saw was very pretty. The image at the top was an idea of what i wanted. It would have been a success.

Using a 5 x 6 camera was very different. Everything was more complicated. You had to be careful in every touch you gave the camera. The film was located in the area where you looked at the shot. Once you had what you wanted to shoot on point, you would place the film in from either the top or side depeding on placement on the film entrance. Then you would wait a few seconds for the camera to stop its movement. You then would press the front little button and your image was taken. It was a great experience.
