Elements

This picture i took was from the top of a ladder. The shapes that are presented are more straight edged. The ladder is my main point of view including its shadow, from the point of view in which i took it gives it length and its a bit rectangular. The shadow it also long and straight edged. However when developing the film, we had a bit of troubles which gave the film a different texture and light, that is why the photo has a circular feel to it on the grass upper area of this photo.
in the upper area of this photo you have more texture from the whole picture. That area was grass and that is where the film defect is shown the most. Its tone in that area is like a scale it starts out dark in the middle starting point of the grass and continues on getting lighter every step up. You also have a shadow that is more on the darker tone but does fade into a lighter tone. The ladder and side walk are lighter but you can see the difference because of the focus each object. The ladder seems to be more fuzzy rather than the side which is focused. When shooting this photo i wanted the opposite, i wanted the ladder to be focused and the rest to be a bit out of focus.
The photo came out lighter because it was taken in sunlight and that is why you can see shadows within the photo. It was taken outdoors in the middle of a open area.
Whether my picture did not result how i believed it would, it resulted to be good. The rare textures that resulted in the picture are what make the picture. To me its succesful.
